Service and customer experience are our top priority. With Upscalix HQ based in Melbourne, we ensure our tech talents based in Indonesia stay on track in providing services. While keeping the project on track, we don’t leave our traditions and cultural celebrations behind.

Indonesia and Australia have built good bilateral relations for over 70 years. Let’s learn more about the big celebrations in Indonesia. Here, you can find the silver lining that our mutual benefits are not only about skilled talent but also about culture and geography.

Indonesia’s Major Holidays

You will find many red dates on the Indonesian calendar. However, we celebrate only three big celebrations as big festive events with our family.

Eid al-Fitr (Lebaran)

Eid al-Fitr, or Lebaran, is one of the most essential celebrations in Indonesia. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. It’s a time for reflection, gratitude, and gathering with loved ones. During this period, our Indonesian teams take a short break to reunite with family and recharge.

While most offices may pause briefly, our commitment to your projects remains steady. We plan to ensure coverage and smooth handovers so nothing is left hanging. Once the celebrations wrap up, our teams return refreshed, focused, and ready to keep building with you.

Christmas

Christmas in Indonesia is a vibrant, meaningful celebration for Indonesia’s Christian families. Homes and streets light up with festive decorations, and families gather for warm, meaningful gatherings. Our teams pause from December 24 to 26 to enjoy the holiday spirit and reconnect with loved ones.

Many travel home to celebrate, share meals, and reflect on the year. Despite the short break, we return energised and ready to deliver. Your projects remain in good hands, with momentum picking up right after the festivities.

Eid al-Adha

Eid al-Adha is a meaningful time in Indonesia, marked by reflection, giving, and shared prayers. Communities gather to celebrate the values of sacrifice and compassion. For many of our team members, it’s a time to connect with loved ones and participate in local traditions.

Upscalix observes a short break during the holiday, typically lasting two days. We always communicate these pauses in advance to ensure your projects stay on track. With some planning, it’s smooth sailing all the way through.

Year-End Availability: Your Advantage

While many companies slow down during the year-end holidays, Upscalix stays ready to support you. We don’t take extended breaks in December or January, so your momentum never stalls. No matter if you are closing out the year or launching something fresh, we are right here with you.

Our team stays online and responsive through New Year’s, so you won’t have to worry about delays or downtime. While others take a break, we keep things running smoothly. You can count on us to keep your momentum going.

How Upscalix Ensures Continuity

At Upscalix, we make sure your projects stay on track, even during the holidays. First, we plan ahead with your schedule in mind and stay aligned with any key dates you follow. Second, we have backup teams ready to step in, so there is always someone from our team available to support you. Lastly, we communicate early about any brief pauses and provide emergency contacts so you are never left in the dark.

This gives you confidence that everything is handled, with clear communication and steady teamwork from start to finish.
